During construction, the library's hours are as follows:
- Monday: 10am - 5pm
- Tuesday: 10am - 5pm
- Wednesday: 1pm - 5pm
- Thursday: 10am - 5pm
- Friday: 10am - 5pm
- Saturday: 1pm - 5pm
- Sunday: 1pm -5pm

Information provided on the online borrower registration form will be held for four months before being deleted.
A permanent library card will be given after showing valid photo ID and proof of residency.
Books and audio books check out for 2 weeks and can be renewed twice if there is not another patron on hold for the item.
DVDs check out for 2 weeks as well, but cannot be renewed. Magazines check out for one week and cannot be renewed.
You can check out as many books as you can be responsible for. We ask that you only check out 3 books at a time on any 1 topic.
You can check out 5 children’s DVDs, 5 nonfiction DVDs, and 10 Fiction DVDs at a time.
As of January 1, 2023, we no longer charge late fines!
Fines will still be charged for lost and damaged items.
The reference librarian will be able to look up your library card number with a valid California state ID or driver's license. Replacement library cards are also available.
To avoid this issue, the library also recommends taking proactive measures to not forget your card number, such as snapping a picture and storing it in your phone ahead of time.
To obtain a Library card, eligible individuals must provide:
- A valid government-issued photo ID showing the name, current mailing address, and date of birth. A physical address must be provided if the mailing address is a P.O. Box. Additional contact information including a phone number and/or an email address, should be provided as well.
Minors age 12 through 17 may obtain a teen library card by presenting a current school ID card or government-issued photo ID. Address verification may be required.
Minors age 5 and up may obtain a juvenile library card when accompanied by one parent. The accompanying parent must present a valid library card in good standing. The adult will take full financial responsibility for all materials borrowed on the minor(s) accounts.
Library cards will be valid for five (5) years from the date of issue. The card may be renewed at five (5) year intervals, provided the holder maintains California residency. Lost cards may be replaced for a replacement fee.
Your library card number is the 14-digit number under the bar code on the back of your library card. When entering it online, do not include the spaces.
By default, your PIN is the last 4 digits of your library card number.
Yes, copies can be made at the library at the following costs:
- $.10 per B&W Copy
- $.25 per Color Copy
Unfortunately, the library does not offer public fax services.
The library lists all events on our online events calendar located at https://bld.libcal.com/.
Send an email to 3D.printer@bld.lib.ca.us with your library card number in the subject line and one (1) STL file attached. Please include a small description of your object in the body of the email, such as the rough size of the object and special instructions for printing if applicable, so that the librarian can confirm the attached object is correct. Please also note that the library will print an object exactly as it is sent and will not make any adjustments prior to printing, nor will the library do any post processing, such as smoothing edges or removing support structures. If necessary, a full copy of the Beaumont Library’s 3D Printing policy is available on request.

Library public use computers can be used by those as young as 10 years old.
Computer guest passes to use the library public use computers are available for those who are 10 years old and older.
Please refer to the "Library Direct 2U" webpage regarding home delivery service for individuals who are unable to visit the library and have no way to pick up their materials from the library.
