The Friends of the Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and provides funds to the Beaumont Library District for programming and materials.

Book Sales
We’re celebrating our brand new Friends bookstore with a grand opening on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 9:30 AM – 2 PM! Check back soon for more information on our new hours.
Donations and Endowments
Donations: The Friends welcome gifts of books and media for the book sale, monetary donations, endowments, and bequests. Monetary donations may be made by cash or check and mailed to Friends of the Library, 125 E 8th Street, Beaumont, CA 92223. Alternatively, funds can be transferred electronically via PayPal to friendsofthebld@gmail.com. Please contact us by email with any questions.
Book donations can be inserted in the green donation bin near the library's California Avenue entrance (see photo below:)

Endowment Fund: In July 2000, the Friends of the Library set aside $5,000 to start an endowment fund for the Beaumont Library District. The endowment fund is a fund kept permanently and invested to create income for the Friends to benefit the Beaumont Library District.
Please remember the Friends of the Library when you wish to honor, gift, or memorialize a friend or loved one.
Become a Friend
There are several levels of membership:
- Individual: $10
- Family: $25
- Patrons: $100
- Lifetime Members: $250
Lifetime Members with recognition by name plaque on the Friend's Donor Wall: $500+
