No experience necessary
Help an adult improve reading and writing skills
Help an adult who is learning English with their speaking and listening skills
Assist learners with developing confidence and a positive attitude about learning
Be a partner with the learner in decisions relating to their learning process and goals
Meet weekly for a 90 minute tutoring session
After completing training, you will prepare weekly lessons designed for the needs and interests of your learner
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of your learner's progress
Complete and turn in a monthly status report
Attend monthly Tutor Roundtable meetings to interact with other tutors and get new ideas (optional)
